Make the product easy to understand
A customer should be able to identify the product, its intended use, and its important specifications without piecing together contradictory information. Start by checking the title, images, and description as one connected offer.
Look for gaps between what the image suggests and what the written details confirm. Dimensions, materials, included items, compatibility, and variants should be accurate wherever they appear.
Choose relevant search terms
Keyword research is useful when it reflects how customers describe the product. Select terms relevant to what you actually sell, rather than adding every popular phrase associated with the category.
A title still needs to read clearly. Apply the requirements for your marketplace and product category, and avoid claims or terms that misrepresent the offer.
Use images to answer real questions
Good product images clarify the product and the details customers need to inspect. Where the category permits it, supporting images can show scale, use, or key features without overstating what is included.
Images are not a substitute for accurate specifications. Check that the visuals match the version of the product being sold and meet the applicable listing requirements.
Review the whole experience
After making changes, review the listing as a customer would. Are the product details consistent? Are important limitations clear? Does the listing describe the actual product rather than an idealized version of it?
Listing improvements can make an offer clearer, but performance also depends on factors such as demand, price, stock, and competition. No wording or image change guarantees sales or ranking.
